When it comes to 80’s fan art, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is one of the most popular subjects. With so many great characters to re-create, it’s no surprise that so many artists want to create their own interpretations of them, some 35 years after they were first brought to screens and comics.
Below are six of our favourite He-Man fan artists and a few pieces of their work. These include everything from portraits to battle scenes. Make sure you check out their work at DeviantArt as some have extensive galleries including TMNT, Ghost Busters, Thundercats and other 80’s favourites.
DAVE RAPOZA
When it comes to portrait pictures, nobody does Masters of the Universe better than DaveRapoza. His collection of MOTU villains is the best we have come across.
Check out his work below, alternatively, you can find more on his Twitter, Facebook and DeviantArt pages.

GEORGE EVANGELISTA
While George doesn’t have an extensive collection of He-Man art, these Skeletor, Trap Jaw and Battle Cat pieces are brilliant. You can find more of his stuff on Facebook, Twitter and DeviantArt.
EDGAR GOMEZ
Edgar Gomez doesn’t appear to have an extensive collection of He-Man fan art, he has however done a couple of great Skeletor pieces that we love.
